Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ThreePedals LLC (“ThreePedals,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you use our apps and website (the “Service”). If you don’t agree with this Policy, please don’t use the Service.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you provide. When you create an account, you give us your name and email address (or the equivalent profile from your sign-in provider). When you use the Service, you give us the listings, photos, documents, notes, and chat messages you submit.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we receive standard technical information such as device type, app version, IP address, and how you interact with features.

Information from third parties. When you analyze a vehicle, we may request vehicle-history information about that vehicle from third-party data providers. When you make a purchase, our payment processors share the purchase confirmation with us.

What we don’t collect. We do not purchase personal information about you from data brokers or other third parties. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or cross-site tracking on the Service.

How we use information

We use information to:

Provide, personalize, and improve the Service. This includes generating findings, comparisons, and responses; maintaining your account; and developing new features.

Communicate with you. We send transactional messages such as sign-in links, receipts, account notices, and push notifications about events relevant to your activity (such as analysis completion or watchlist updates). You can manage push notifications in your device settings.

Process payments and grant access to features.

Promote safety, security, and integrity. This includes diagnosing problems, preventing abuse, and complying with legal obligations.

Research, develop, and improve the Service. We use the content you submit — including photos, documents, notes, chat messages, and outcomes you share with us — together with aggregated and de-identified information to research, develop, and improve the Service, including to train, fine-tune, and improve the AI models and features that generate findings, comparisons, and chat responses. Insights derived from your contributions help us improve the Service for you and for other users.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service or as described here:

For a current list of subprocessors, email legal@threepedals.ai.

How we protect information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for other essential purposes such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

Your account, your choices

You can update or correct your account information from within the app at any time.

You can delete your account from within the app or by emailing legal@threepedals.ai. On deletion, we remove your account information from our active systems, subject to limited retention as described above (for legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and de-identified analytics).

Your rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and comparable privacy laws in other US states, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request a copy of it, request correction or deletion (subject to limited legal and operational exceptions), opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell or share), limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights. Email legal@threepedals.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us which right you are exercising. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling a request — typically by asking you to respond from the email address on your account and to confirm information we already hold about you. For sensitive requests, we may require additional verification.

Response time. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within the initial 45-day window and may extend by up to an additional 45 days, as permitted by law.

Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your own identity directly with us before fulfilling the request.

Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word “Appeal” and a brief explanation. We will respond to the appeal within the time required by your state’s law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please email legal@threepedals.ai and we will delete it.

Outside the United States

The Service is offered only in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes, we’ll provide reasonable advance notice by email or within the app before the change takes effect.
